A Family Business
Streid and Associates was started by Julie Streid in 2018 when she took over an existing tax practice. She had worked for the previous owners for close to two decades before they retired. Since then, she has expanded the practice on both the tax and accounting sides of the business. Mark Streid came on in 2020 to help with the expanding workload. Together they have decades of tax and accounting experience . They both enjoy the work and the challenges that are presented by the unique questions clients ask them.

Julie Streid -
Julie graduated from Bradley University in `985 with a BS in Accounting. She began her Career at Peat Marwick Main (KPMG) and has had various tax and accounting jobs around the Peoria area since then. She was a part of Kuppler and Associates for over 15 years which performed tax and accounting services for over 300 clients annually.
If you went to Bradley Basketball games in the 80’s you may have even seen her cheer for the Braves back in her college years.
Mark Streid
Mark graduated from Illinois Wesleyan in 2015. He spent his first 4 years post college working for Pricewaterhouse Coopers, where he got his CPA and largely worked on Fortune 500 companies. He then spent a year working at CliftonLarsonAllen on small companies in the Peoria area. In June of 2020, he joined with Streid and Associates. Since then he has helped individuals and local businesses fulfill their business needs.
Outside of work, Mark has a passion for sports. He has worked as an assistant coach for the Peoria Notre Dame Men’s and Women’s Soccer teams since the spring of 2017. On most days in the spring and the fall you can catch him coaching at the PND fields, doing what he enjoys most.
